We should definitely treat boys like a girl

We should definitely treat boys like a girl

There are few questions which are bothering me from quite sometime. Why mom’s love their daughters more than they love her son. She leaves no stone unturned to make their lovely girls perfect so that girls can be independent, strong and can adjust even in worst situations but on the other hand boys are some or the other hands always dependent on others. Why we give more importance to girls and probably no importance to boys? Why all slogans talk about girl’s education but don’t care about the education of boys “beti bachao beti padhao” why it can’t beย “na sirf tera na bus mera sabko shikshit kar hi ho jag me gyan ka swera”.

Those are the days when only men’s of the family earns the livelihood and women’s spend all their time at home. With the passage of time women’s have done so well. There is almost no area where women’s have not shown their talent and all this happen not only because of their hard work and zeal to achieve the heights of success but this happens because men’s too have supported them and gave them the opportunity to come up and showcase their talent in front of the world. We have given so much empathize on women empowerment that the other majority of population which is men, is neglected so far.

There is no doubt that today’s women are all rounders they can manager their office work and house chores all by themselves. They take care of every little need of the family starting from the cleanliness of the house to washing, cooking and raising the children’s to all important and toughest decision in the office. In others words today’s woman not dependent on men’s any more. They can live their life on their own. But here my point is do men too are capable of doing all this by themselves? the most likely answer would be “NO“. Now the another question will be: Are they really incapable or women’s has some supernatural powers which men’s don’t have? Why men’s have to be dependent on women’s, it could be their mother, sister, wife or daughter for all day-to-day needs. Why can’t we make them self-dependent too? Why can’t we teach boys how to cook the food by themselves at home, how to wash clothes, how to clean utensils, how to take care of the new-born, so that they do not have to rely on women’s all the time. We always talk about equality or giving the same rights to everyone than why the today’s equality is only one-sided?

Only few of the men’s knows the basic house chores and there are some who don’t even know how to boil a glass of water and they can’t be blame for this. They are doing what they have seen in their childhood. It is a very common practice which can be seen at our homes as well. Generally only girls are called in kitchen for help, to serve food or to help in other stuff but not boys. We have treated girls like a boy and girls has shown the commendable results, now it is a high time to treat all boys like a girl only then we will the equality in real manner.

  1. Nice thoughts, representing facts. Too much emphasis on females have rendered males inefficient, especially in so called girl dominated jobs. Good work done.
