
Ingredients
- 1 packet of fresh bread
- 4 bowl of Water
- 3 bowl of white Sugar
- Oil to fry
- 1 grated Coconut
- Dry fruits for garnishing
How to make Sugar Syrup:
- In a medium saucepan combine sugar and water.
- Bring to boil, stirring, until sugar has dissolved.
- Allow it to cool down a bit.
How to make Shahi Tukra:
- Cut the bread slices into 4 equal parts.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry bread pieces until its golden brown, flip the sides for evenly cooking.
- Remove the bread pieces into plate.
- Dip bread Tukra into sugar syrup and remove the pieces after one minute.
- Cover the fried & sugar quoted bread piece into coconut powder.
- Garnish the Shahi Tukra with finally chopped dry fruits.
Best way to serve Shahi Tukra:
- Shahi Tukra can be served as it is as a sweet dessert.
- Shahi Tukra can be served along with Rabri to give it extra shahi feel.
Note: Shahi Tukra can easily be stored in refrigerator for 4-5 days.
